Events: Connect October Meeting
Connect is the Youth Leaders’ network, hosted by Solent Youth for Christ. If you do youth work (paid or voluntary) in your local church, this network is for you! Meeting once a term, it will give you the chance to connect with other youth leaders, encourage each other, share ideas, pray together, gain invaluable training, and be inspired in your God-given calling to disciple young people for Christ and reach others for Him!
The next Connect - Youth Leaders Forum will be on Saturday 3rd October
The main subject will be working with schools, and the three seminars that you are able to choose between will be:
Being a school friendly church – how to be salt and light to local schools
Supporting Christian teenagers in their school lives – building young Christians to live for Jesus
Effective schools work – making the most of opportunities within schools
Not sure how to choose? Then bring two colleagues and benefit from all three seminars!
Connect will be from 10am to 12midday, and breakfast will be provided
It will be held at Paulsgrove Baptist Church (1 Woofferton Road, Paulsgrove, PO6 4DW)
